Medical office called me this morning. My deferral is gone! I’m back on track, though I still have a few more documents to send them. It remains to be seen whether anything on those documents will result in another deferral or any denial or restrictions, but at least I’m in the running again.
About Me
- I am an anthropologist, educator and documentarian. I have just returned from Africa, where I taught multimedia production to Beninese artists and schoolchildren. Now I am looking for an opportunity to re-enter my professional field, which is educational media production. I define this term broadly, to mean the production of everything from a video to a game to an online course, so long as it has educational content. My current research interests encompass how low-literacy learners use computer resources for education and how such resources may be made more useful to low-literacy learners.
